WORK EXPERIENCE

Customer Service Manager/Accounts Payable

Ethan Allen Global - Atoka, OK - August 2009 to Present

Responsibilities

Responsible for all phases or warranty claims, repairs and replacement of Ethan Allen home furnishings

products. Scheduling repair technicians and delivery personell, ordering parts and repair products as needed.

In depth communication with customers, Design center personell as well as vendors. Daily use of cameras

and computer to process warranty or damage claims. Order entry for credits on defective items, requiring me

to asses the issues and describe the issues in a computer program with pictures showing the damage/defect

and all tag's labels with item information.

Accounts payable duties were handed over to co-worker after I cross trained her for customer service and AP.

During that time I verified invoices from vendors entered into corporate accounting softwear for payment. Set

up vendor accounts as needed,verified liability insurance and licenses.

Accomplishments

Starting out as the Accounts Payable Coordinator in 2009 I also was asked to assist with Customer Service

for the Texas area. deliveries were being made out of our warehouse location directly to the customer's

homes. This required inspections and repairs to new items in warehouse prior to delivery. i was responsible

for documenting all damages to new product, taking photos and entering the credit request from our corporate

office. Ensuring that the items were repaired or replaced prior to delivery. This was in addition to my AP duties

for the Texas area. April 2010 our customer service coordinator left and did not return, during that time I handled

the AP duties as well as the customer service duties.

October 2010 a new CS person was hired, I trained her in CS policies and then later in AP.

I was assigned the CS position at the request of my peers. Later being assigned 4 additional states, with 8 total

design centers as well as internet orders. I used "out of the box" approches to sometimes difficult situations to

resolve the issues at hand. While trying to maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Skills Used

Excellent people skills, communication with corporate leaders as well as craftsman and technicians. I have

been able to resolve customer complaints by simply listening to the issues and then offering a resolution. I

have implemented many repair solutions that were more cost effective as well as time saving for both our

company and the client.

Organized and detail oriented, I am requred to inspect all photos and items to determine if the issue was

customer caused.

Property Management

Big 5 ADA housing - Ada, OK - March 2007 to August 2009

Responsibilities

Leasing Manager for Low income Housing for the disabled.

leasing Manager for the Elderly disabled

Process Rent payments, process rental applications and evictions. Perform inspections and repair's. Hire

contractors as needed for repairs, monitor these contractors to insure all items were up to USDA Housing

requirments.

Accomplishments

I managed 2 sites in 2 different towns both were designed for the lower income Disabled and Elderly.

Coordinated activities for both groups to insure neighborhood meetings. Made upgrades to community room

to allow the residents better enjoy the area.

Skills Used

Problem solving, negotiating contractors bids. Resolving tenant disputes, monitoring properties and tenant

incomes to insure compliance with all housing regulations.

Westside park Apartments and Mini Storage

Texoma agency - Atoka, TN - July 1995 to May 2006

Responsibilities

Property Management for government subsidized housing and Mini storage facility.

All phases of Property management, rental collections, background checks and leasing.

Accomplishments

Built up the multi-family housing complex from a 20% occupancy to 100% within 1 year.

I oversaw the construction of a 100 unit mini storage facility while continuing to manage the housing units.

Skills Used

Problem solving, dispute resolution and customer service skills. Inspection documentaion, and audit reveiw

with USDA rural development and OHFA housing authorities.
