. Answering multiple phone lines. Assist walk in and call in
defendants, attorneys, Sheriff's Office employees/deputies, Police
department employees/officers, Highway Patrol Troopers, Drug Task
Force Investigators and Drug Court Staff.
. Maintain calendar and schedule all appointments for District Attorney
and Assistant District Attorney.
. Responsible for all document filing with the Court Clerk and supplying
attorneys with Discovery and Court Orders.
. Schedule Initial Appearances, maintain Appearance Bond documents and
arrange other court dates as needed.
. Organize all files weekly for upcoming dockets. Prepare and issue all
Subpoenas, Summons and Notices, Extraditions, Writs and Orders to
transport inmates needed for court.
. Assist the District Attorney in Court all hearings assuring all
defendants and attorneys receive the appropriate paperwork. Attend
all Preliminary Hearings and Trials to assist District Attorney as
needed.
. Attend all Juvenile (Delinquent and Deprived), Forfeiture, Drug Court,
Mental Health Hearings and prepare all Court documents required for
said hearings. Work closely with Department of Human Services Child
Welfare and Oklahoma Juvenile Services and Drug Court Staff.
. Enter all information into Justware System and prepare all
Informations (Charges), Judgment and Sentences, Deferrals of
Sentences, Accelerations, Revocations and Drug Court Terminations.
Enter and submit all required information for submission to the
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations. Process the appropriate
documents to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
. Organize and File all court documents in open and closed filing
systems. Maintain Equipment Inventory, maintain appropriate retention
of all Criminal, Civil, Juvenile, Mental Health and Forfeiture files.
. Member of the Haskell County Drug Court Staff working closely with the
Judge and staff assisting to determine who is appropriate for
participation, assuring Drug Court receives all paperwork regarding
applications, plea paperwork and terminations. Monitor Drug Court
participants employment verification records, orders of Incarceration
and assure participants are properly assessed Cost of Incarceration
for Drug Court Sanctions. Attend Drug Court weekly, yearly training
sessions and attended National Drug Court Seminar in Indianapolis in
2010.
. Haskell County Truancy Officer: Work closely with local schools
regarding all truancy issues. Prepare and issue all truancy letters
to parents/guardians and JSU. Maintain weekly contact with all area
schools regarding all open cases monitoring attendance.
. Haskell County Victim's Compensation Coordinator: Prepare and issue
all Victim's Compensation packets for Haskell County Cases. Assist
victims with completing packets when needed.
. Assistant Probation Supervisor: verify monthly reporting, prepare all
probation violation reports and perform all random drug testing for
approximately 500 probationers on a monthly basis.
. Monitor Jail Log daily to assure all inmates have Bonds set, verify
the accuracy of bonds listed and book in charges. Work closely with
Haskell County Detention Center employees to assure accuracy of inmate
records. Provide Detention Center with all inmate documents, court
dates, certified Judgment and Sentences, Orders of Incarceration and
Release. Schedule all transports of inmates for Court Hearings.
. Work closely with Oklahoma Department of Corrections Administration
and Probation and Parole providing appropriate inmate documents and
current compliance.
