Description

Involved in testing of an online application, which was developed for JNL Insurance Group. The application helps the

field agents of the company to enter prospective customers’ data. The project deals with Commercial (Property and

Causality), Health Care, Personal, Life, Insurance Modules. The scope of my application is Health Care Insurance.

Worked with POWER MHS Claims System, which enables transmitting enrollment and dis-enrollment information

electronically. The application deals with pricing of the premium required and benefits for the years in consideration.

In this system, the registered members can get the details of the long term care insurance and benefits.

Responsibilities

Prepared and executed test cases and test scripts using Quality Center based on the Functional

Specifications Document and use cases.

Identified ambiguities in the requirements based on the business processes.

Extensive testing is done for different pricing methods and for different categories.

Project : Feedback Module and Feedback Admin Module

Description

The feedback module is a tool supporting the product end user. It comprises of different feedbacks like Bug Report,

Product Enhancement Report, etc., it works on the lines where in an end user (product consumer) faces any bug or

software enhancement issue, it is reported to the technical team using this feedback module. The Feedback Admin

module has workflows built into it, like after an end user submits a feedback, it is assigned to a technical support

person and the status of that feedback is recorded at every level and escalated accordingly.
