1. Automatic Commencement of Retirement Kit
Description:
The project is basically for automating the Retirement flow on the participants who are reaching their
Normal Retirement Age (i.e. age 65) and have not started their commencement. After the automation,
the participants whose age is near the retirement age, their retirement flow will automatically start
through Automatic Retirement Flow.
It was achieved by a batch job, which will pick such participants and Automatic Retirement Activity
(DBIRET) will be pending on their accounts. Activity will get processed on their accounts. It includes
testing Different plans on GUI based system named Total Benefits Administration and also involves
testing of Personalized Communication Statements (PCS) which are sent to participants informing
about the Benefits they are entitled for at their Normal Retirement Age.

2. Estimate Automation Project for Alternate Payee.
Description: This Project involves allowing the Alternate Payee to Estimate their Benefits. It includes
testing across all the Siemens Plan Provisions using GUI and working with Calc Engine (Hewitt
proprietary for performing various calculations) team to correct the defects found during testing.
Responsibilities held:
The responsibility includes doing analysis based on the requirements from Client delivery Group
Team, configuring the DB2 tables based on analysis, Test planning and then testing the system for the
newly implemented change.
3. Actuarial Valuation Process
Description: An Actuarial Valuation of a pension plan is an annual process that determines funding
requirements (i.e., how much cash they should put into the plan) and expense costs. This Project is
based on handling the Actval process and working with Batch Team (Mainframes Team) which
generates Bfexto File and then we convert bfexto (Mainframe) File to Text File using File Transfer
Protocol (FTP).
Reports for all plans are extracted after importing the text file in the ADMS (Actuarial Data
Management System Tool). This Process is first performed in Production Mirror Database and after
the Validating all the Client Data. It is finally run in the Production Environment (Live Environment).
Testing is performed in all the Phases.
Responsibilities held:
The Responsibility includes validating all the Client data and Generating Extract Reports, Verifying the
Reports and working with Actval Team and Client Delivery Group to understand the requirements. It
includes Analysis, Configuration and Testing in all the Phases.
4. Your Benefit Resources (YBR) site Upgradation
Description: YBR is a Web based application used by Customer Care Executive (Hewitt)/
Employees for managing their Pension Benefits, Health and welfare information.
Web Testing is performed after every new Release to test the newly implemented change.
Responsibilities held:
The responsibility includes upgrading the YBR site available to the Employee by configuring
New functionality and customization as per the new release .It includes Test planning,
Testing all the flows on YBR, Submitting Support issues to YBR support team for fixing
Defects.
