QUALIFICATIONS

Along with two years of trade school experience I have 17 years of on the job welding and metal fabrication experience. I'm very skilled in the following processes. Mig, tig, stick and flux cored welding on various metals including aluminum, stainless, carbon steel and many other alloys. I'm proficient at reading blueprints and weld symbols and can operate most fabrication equipment including brake press, shears, drill presses, band saws, iron workers and most other shop equipment as well as most hand tools. I'm also experienced in rigging with overhead cranes as well as operating stand up and sit down forklifts.

Duties. My main responsibility was to assemble and weld various carts and racks from fixtures and prints.

Welder/Fabricator from 3/06 to 10/13

Duties. Fabricate and weld various items to customer and blueprint specifications. I also helped running the shears, band saws, and sheet metal rollers. Assisted in the preparing items for shipment as well as recieved shipments from vendors. Along with my shipping and recieving duties i was also responsible for the ordering of all welding supplies.

Duties. Fabricate and weld dampers and expansion joints for coal burning power plants according to blueprint specs. Submerged arc weld one inch carbon steel blades and install into dampers to power plants specs.
