TYR Tactical is a manufacturing facility producing tactical gear and

ballistics worldwide for the military, FBI and police/sheriff departments.

Working closely with the product development team to generate production

raw material cutting documents, bill of materials (BOMs), calculating

fabric and trim usage documents per product line, calculating labor

charges, processing all of the data on the listed documents a requirement

in determining the actual cost to manufacture each product this data is

used to set a selling price of the item. The quantity of products produced

was around 4000. The computer software used in the costing process was

Microsoft GreatPlains (GP). Generated and maintained revision history of

SOP's, Bill of Materials (BOM's), and departmental processes.

Set-up hard copy files of products manufactured, maintained ISO quality

history within each file.

Designed and maintained a product labeling and tracking system for all

product samples as well as controlled the distribution and updates of all

product samples. Audited all product samples for accuracy and

completeness. Computer software used was Microsoft Great Plains (GP).
