Nexant is a retail business company of consumer goods spread over United

States of America (U.S.A). The Data warehouse has many applications and it

has a high volume of transactions and data. Data warehouse has many

functional and technical groups and ETL is one among them performing the

development activities for Data warehouse.

Retail project is to provide a single source of reporting for managing store/retail

operations using data warehousing ETL SQL Server 2005 Integration Services.

This will provide a mechanism to allow a uniform approach to manage all the

retail operations. Users have flexibility to choose time periods and aggregation

levels. Reports have been generated using SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services

and scheduled.

Safeway is America’s largest retailer with more than 1,700 stores throughout

North America serving more than 3.5 million customers every week. Safeway

operates fully serviced supermarkets with more than 3000 products throughout

America. Today Safeway is one of America’s leading food retailing and Sales

lead information provides the capturing and maintaining information capabilities

on all sales. To achieve this it was required to transform/modify/load the sales

data collected and stored into SQL Server Database where it can be analyzed.

The Enterprise Data warehouse was implemented to centralize database for

decision support and to improve the client services by preventing errors,

providing real-time data and updating records as transactions are completed.

Through the Data Mart reports have been generated and scheduled.

Qatar Airways was established on November 22, 1993. The airline started its

operations on January 20, 1994 using a wet-leased Boeing 767-200ER from

Kuwait Airways .In Project had mainly three modules it Covers all the technical

performance of all flights in Airways. The defects, shutdowns, rejected take offs

of flights compared with Revenues of particular flight done in previous year to

current year. Finally this can give overall performance of Fleets in Qatar Airways.

Responsibilities:

Development SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.

Creating Packages for Loading data from Staging to Production.

Creating jobs for automation of SSIS Packages.

Writing Stored Procedure for dash boards and improving the Report

performance.

Deploying Reports into Share point.
