Request Tracking Study: Utilized both on-line and mail methodology using the TNS panel. Managed extensive

communication with the client team ; monitored all front and backend data processing staff; ensured efficient data

Verizon Wireless trackers: Broadband Access (telephone), Business Brand Track (on-line), and POS (Point-of-Service;

on-line and mail study). Managed all day-to-day project tasks. Responsible for organizing, writing, proofing and

delivering final reports to the client in a timely fashion. All Verizon Wireless custom projects included direct client

contact.

Commercial Banking Market Monitor: Business-to-Business telephone tracking study concerning usage of financial

services. Implemented questionnaire updates and oversaw all aspects of data collection: training, quality control,

weekly progress reports and meetings with the account executive and telep hone field staff. Developed the first formal

interviewer training manual and conducted an on -site training session with the outside telephone vendor.

SC Johnson: Yearly customer call center satisfaction survey, conducted by mail. Managed detailed scheduling for

mailing surveys and data processing; quality control for sample; monitored data processing by other internal resources;

and provided brief monthly and quarterly reports to the client. Participated in client meetings to set up each year’s

survey, and when issues arose or changes were needed during the year.

Mississippi Power: Consumer and Business-to-Business telephone customer call center satisfaction tracking survey.

Managed all day-to-day project tasks. Also accountable for proofing data tables and open-ended customer comments

before sending to the client.

ROPERASW/Gfk, Princeton, NJ

Research Manager, October 2000 – November 2002

Managed day-to-day project tasks, including quota control, training and monitoring of field and telephone staff, check -in of

direct mail studies, and coding. Assisted account executives in proposal writing, budget development, sample design,

questionnaire design, data analysis and report writing. Primary client contact and liaison between account executive and

internal RoperASW operating departments for each project.

Redesigned and co-edited a monthly newsletter for the interviewers which m ore clearly communicated project

information between staff and field, increased productivity and decreased data collection errors.

Successfully orchestrated two focus group interview projects to provide clients with quick turn-around data on products

due for immediate release.

Produced reports that provided a major client with up-to-date information on customer service and product satisfaction

Field Administrator, September 1985 - June 1997

Controlled all phases of in-person data collection for omnibus and custom research projects in the Northeast and

Midwest, including recruiting, training and management of outside interviewing services and independent field

interviewers; scheduling; record keeping; validation and quality control; review and approval of all data collection bills.

Wrote a new training manual for interviewers that included more clearly defined and updated instructions concerning

interviewing practices, new record-keeping and billing forms which improved interviewing techniques and efficiency of

handling paperwork.

Assisted project directors and clients on questionnaire design.

As Research Librarian, (concurrent February 1994 - October 1995) answered telephone, mail and fax inquiries from

the general public, media and industry concerning pub lic release surveys and trend information on various topics.

Helped to develop and maintain caller database that allowed for measurement of number of callers within any given

period as well as topic about which they called.
