CONSTRUCTION & COMMISSIONING ENGINEER– INSTRUMENTATION

a) Performing Construction preparation activities involving:

Implement all necessary work instruction, procedures, forms etc. while execution of project.

Review construction procedures and method statements

Site inspection and approval of materials used for construction.

Review the Engineering drawings / documents etc. and provide comments from construction point of

view.

Co-ordinate with Project Coordinator for scaffolding works related to Instrumentation .

b) Supervising Construction Activities involving:

Arrange for daily work permits as per procedure.

Monitor and ensure that all construction works performed are as per the approved drawing and

procedures.

Ensure that all works are being carried out as per Company safety rules & regulations, work procedures.

Coordinate site survey works.

Coordinate with Inspection Engineer for inspection activities related to Instrumentation works.

Update daily work progress to the planning engineer.

Supervision of tray work, Fabrication of transmitters/Switches stanchions, Impulse piping and Leak

proof testing.

Review weekly and monthly progress reports and provide comments to project coordinators /Planning

Engineers.

Coordinate construction issues among other disciplines and across divisions.

Resolve problems during construction at site and manage construction.

Update final as-built drawings related to Instrumentation.
