Degree: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, GPA 3.1, 6/14/2014
Activities: O IT IEEE Club, Treasurer
Senior Capstone Design Project: Completed a 3-D printer which is capable of
p roducing objects using either the Stereolithography or ABS plastic extrusion
method. The rail system was specifically designed to work with either production
method, was driven using stepper motors, and controlled by an ATmega2560
m icrocontroller. The drawings for the printed objects were designed using the free
s tudent version of AutoCAD 2014.
Six Pulse Controlled Bridge Rectifier Project: Completed a three phase bridge
rectifier, which utilized the SCR’s controllable fi r ing angle and a RC fil ter, to control
both the voltage output and reduce the output r ipple voltage.
