San Juan, PR (2007 to Present) (Budget 22.4 M - Final Budget up to 32 M)

- PR22 - De Diego Highway in San Juan - was a bridge modification of existing foundations including, but not

limited to: dike leaves, river diversions, dewatering, deep wells, excavation and earth movement, shoring, sheet

piling, 52 drill shafts with bentonite slurry, columns, cap beams covering the existing ones, four debris walls around

piers, channel walls at abutments and girder stops works. All works were done and completed with overhead

restrictions under the bridge completly open to traffic with none interruptions during whole project duration,

protecting the -17 ft excavated working platform from the Puerto Nuevo river normal levels by temporary

dewatering dikes.

Cayey West Bypass PR206 Client: Puerto Rico DTPW - PRHTA

Cayey, PR (2004 to 2008) (Budget 9.3 M - Final Budget up to 14 M)

- PR206 - Cayey South Bypass in Cayey - 3 km new two way direction of road bypass from PR14 to PR1. This

project included a double span bridge with two abutments over driven piles and one pier at center over creek with a

cap beam over six columns. Included earth movement of over half million of cubic meters of unclassified and rock

excavation material using control and production blasting for the rock extraction for aggregates materials using a

mobil mine plant for crushing and sizing. Also includes a full depth of pavement installation, cold millig, fill

embankments, storm RCP and PVC drain installation, concrete curbs and gutters, concrete sidewalks, concrete

waterways, six retaining walls with gabions, electrical and utilities relocation and new utilities, traffic signing.

Coamo, PR (2002 to 2005) (Budget 5.2 M - Final Budget up to 8 M)

- PR138 - Coamo South Bypass in Coamo - 5 km new two way direction of road bypass from PR14 to PR153. This

project included a single span bridge with two abutments. Included earth movement of over one and a half hundred

thousand of cubic meters of unclassified and rock excavation material using control and production blasting for the

rock extraction for aggregates materials using a mobil mine plant for crushing and sizing. Also includes a full depth

- Tren Urbano Project (Section 5), San Juan - design-build project single-line, 10.7-mile fixed-guideway rapid

transit system that serves the municipalities of San Juan, Bayamon, and Guaynabo in Puerto Rico. Included

demolitions, driven piles, drill shaft piles, MOT, bridges with MSE retaining wall, precast segments, post-

tensioning segments, excavations, foundations, columns, storm water RCP installation, utilities relocation and new

utilities, lighting, planting, traffic signing. Also included the last five design-build Stations of the project. This

section was originally budget for 125 millions, at completion the cost of this section was over 300 millions. Final

Cost of all sections was 2.28 billion, the most expensive project in San Juan.
