MINI PROJECT
Implementation and comparison of various asynchronous pipeline architectures
Various high speed asynchronous pipeline architectures which exist in the literature are
implemented as full custom IC design in Cadence Virtuoso tool set. Post layout simulation
results of various architectures are implemented in UMC 90nm technology.
MAIN PROJECT
MMIC Design for a GaN HEMT based Ka band Low Noise Amplifier
Designed and simulated a Ka band LNA using GaN HEMT in Agilent ADS tool. The
corresponding LNA provided more than 15dB gain and less than 4dB noise figure in 26 -
28GHz.
Design and implementation of a Low Power High DR charge pump based SC
Integrator for modulators.
A novel charge pump based SC (switched Capacitor) Integrator which of fer high DR
compared to existing circuits was designed and implemented. The schematics to layout
designs were done in Cadence Virtuoso tool using UMC 90nm technology library.
UG PROJECTS
VISION GUIDED PICK AND PLACE ROBOTIC ARM
In this we have designed and built a robotic arm for pick and place purpose having
three degree of freedom. The controls of servomotors were done using an ARM7 based
processor and we have incorporated vision guiding mechanism also. The shape detection
of objects was based on Matlab Image Processing tools and the control GUI was built in
Matlab GUI.
HOME AUTOMATION BASED ON POWERLINE COMMUNICATION (MINI PROJECT)
Dealt with power line carrier communication on this project and we have designed
and built a transmitter and receiver for the same. The data was used for home
automation purposes. The control was based on Intel8051 microcontroller.
DONE A ONE WEEK INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AT KOZHIKKODE DIESEL POWER
PLANT.
