WORK HISTORY

2014-2014-Project Manager: Kindness General Contractors

I worked as a Project Manager for a general contracting company that was building an

electrical substation in San Diego county. My responsibilities were to conduct all safety

meetings and conduct safety training. I would track progress of the project, as well as

scheduling the delivery of materials and the delivery of equipment. I would conduct

safety meetings daily, and compliance audits in the field. As well as the day to day

dealing with all employees.

2004-2014 Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (Safety Director)

Responsibilities include the operating of Kinder Morgan’s 16-inch South Line monitoring

of pipeline pressures and monitoring of upstream and downstream deliveries, As well as a

relief line rider, duties were to ride the area of the KM pipeline and monitor any

excavations being done in the vicinity of the pipeline. I can operate the Kinder Morgan

South Line as well as performing duties as a line inspector. I was also the Orange

Terminal Safety director. I would supervise labor in excavations, when locating the KM

pipeline, I created a PM schedule to assure all equipment is ready for excavations, I was

made aware of budget restraints and would schedule labor and equipment to meet the

budget requirements. The main goal at this company was to assure that operations has no

delays and all work is done to the clients satisfaction. Being in operations for so many

years I have learned to keep safety first and operations of the facility running efficiently

and without harm to workers or clients product or equipment. While I was the safety

director there were no lost time accidents.

1999-2004 Kinder Morgan Bulk Terminal Port Los Angeles California (Operations

Manager)

Responsibilities included the managing of employees while loading bulk Vessels,

handling all paperwork, computer work, permits involved in loading a vessel. When not

loading vessels at the terminal conducted safety meetings, as well as safety training on all

aspects of the terminal Coast Guard regulations and AQMD regulations. I was in charge

of special projects where I had to budget equipment rentals and union labor this took

great management skills, all my projects came in on time and without over budget

penalties. Additional duties, I developed a PM checklist that I would audit to assure all

mechanical and electrical PM’S were being performed. And I had no lost time accident.

1997-1999 Control Room Operator/ Safety Specialist

Savage Industries: Los Angeles California

Managed the unloading of coal trains and the receiving of petroleum coke trucks use

heavy equipment, helping to load coal vessels. As a safety Specialist I would conduct

safety audits as well as safety meetings. I was in charge of maintaining a preventive

maintenance schedule on all equipment onsite, skid steers, water trucks, bulldozers,and

front end loaders.

1995-1997 Purchasing Agent: Brown & Root Houston, Texas

Responsibilities: purchase materials for the job site as well as keeping track of the

overall budget of the project.

1993-1995 Cost Engineer: Belmont Contractors Houston, Texas

Responsibilities: purchased materials and did price comparisons on all electrical fixtures

this involved phone communication with several wholesale material warehouses and did

payroll for fifty employees.
