PROJECTS – INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

1. Project: Offline Examination

Development Environment: Core Java, Java swing and MySQL

Technical Detail: Offline Examination is the real time software, which is designed for single system.

The project is implemented using Java Swing and MySQL. Some latest feature of JDK 1.6 like auto

loading of JDBC driver along with design patterns such as Builder, Singleton and DAO are used.

This has roles based implementation admin and student. Specifically, a student is not allowed to

change previously answered questions.

2. Project: Library Management System

Development Environment and Technologies: J2EE, JSP and MySQL

Technical Details: Library Management System is Library management software for monitoring and

controlling the transactions in a library. DAO (Data Access Object) design pattern is used for making

the code DATABASE Independent so that we can use any databases with this code. Some design

patterns are also used like Singleton and Session Façade. My role was developer and database

handler for this project. This application mainly focuses on basic operations in a library like – adding

new member new books. Updating new information, searching books facility to issue and return books.

PROJECTS – ACADEMIC

1. Project: Banking System

Development Environment and Technology: Java swing and MS Access

Technical Detail: The Domain “Banking System “keeps the day by day tally record as a complete

banking. Logger for generating log file and Timer for adding time in database with transaction are

used in this system. Some design patterns like Object Pool, Adapter and Flyweight are also used in

it. It can keep the information of Account type, account opening form, Deposit, Withdrawal. The

exciting part of this project is; it displays Transaction reports, Statistical Summary of Account type.

2. Project: Transport Management System

Development Environment and Technology: 'C' and File Handling

Technical Detail: A Transport management System (TMS) is a software system designed to manage

transportation operations and will streamline the services of any company carrying freight for clients,

or supply companies managing their own delivery systems. I developed ''Header files'' of different

module for making code reusable by including that files. File Handling feature is use for storing data

into backend for future use. Here file represent a sequence of byte which is created for permanent

storage of data.

3. Project: Two player Tic Tac Toe and 8 Queens Problem

Development Environment and Technology: Java swing

Technical Detail: Tic Tac Toe is played by two players and 8 Queens problem is one player game.

The correct and wrong moves are checked in the back end of GUI.
