Category/Product Marketing Manager, Level IV– Home Theater and Video

• Launched Bose SoundTouch category of Wifi music systems across 27 APAC countries, which was the largest product

launch in Bose history. Led team of country managers, marketing, sales, merchandising, service, and training to launch

products including all messaging, creative development for TV, print, and digital, and retail execution.

• Grew $121M Home Theater and TV business in Asia Pacific 10% in a declining market through strategic planning,

driving sales performance, launching new products, and expanding distribution. Led teams across APAC to execute

lifecycle management initiatives and go-to-market plans including marketing, PR, merchandising, sales engagement,

channel expansion, and customer relationship management.

• Created $7.3M business for premium VideoWave TV business that was a new product extension for Bose and reached a

new customer segment. Leveraged customer research to develop target market and business plan. Managed cross-

functional team that launched $1M marketing campaign to generate demand and implemented sales incentives and

training programs to increase sales conversion 3x.

• Managed a global product recall that required leadership in a crisis. Coordinated with legal, public relations, sales,

customer service, and retail partners to successfully recover 40% of products compared to industry standards of 15%.

LG ELECTRONICS Englewood Cliffs, NJ 2008-2010

Senior Manager, Brand Management – Consumer Activation, Promotions, Sponsorships, and PR

Led newly created team established to bring the LG brand to life through consumer activation programs, integrated marketing,

retailer promotions, and PR - managed $7M marketing budget for TV and Home Appliances businesses.

• Launched value-added consumer promotions at national and regional retailers to drive sales and promote new product

launches. Increased sales by 125% at Best Buy, Sears, Home Depot, and regional accounts such as hhgregg by running

retailer promotions with leading brand partners including NCAA, Omaha Steaks, Garnet Hill, and Nambe.

• Created strategic partnerships with Paramount and Marvel Characters and leveraged movie assets to drive sales.

Implemented Transformers 2 and Iron Man 2 retailer promotions which included TV, print, digital, and mobile creative

that increased sales by 80% and generated $2 million of retailer funded advertising for 200% ROI and 300+ million

impressions. In-store creative for the Transformers campaign won the prestigious 39th Annual Creativity International

Award for “Dimensional Promotion, Campaign”.

• Led the first annual LG “Taste of Something Better Cooking Competition”. Integrated marketing effort that included

sponsorship with Bon Appétit magazine, digital marketing, OOH advertising, retailer integration, and an exciting

cooking competition with celebrity chefs. Generated $8M in combined PR and Ad Value with 1,100+ media placements,

and 75+ million impressions. Featured on CNN. Exceeded goals by 300%.

• Achieved $9 million in PR value through all PR efforts including product messaging, press releases, SMTs, events,

award programs, media relations, and responding to customer issues. Flagship PR event was managing the $3 million

LG exhibit at the 2009 KBIS tradeshow including the strategy, creative, and event execution. Reduced cost by 40%

while exceeding all marketing, sales, and PR goals. 50k+ people visited the booth.
