Sole responsibility for running the Chase news office and providing all content for the Chase section of

the Shuswap Market News. Weekly content included: police report, council report, upcoming events,

human interest stories with photos, and feature articles with photos.

Worked to build relationships within the community and uphold the responsibility of being the

community's only source of news and event information.

Feature articles were moved to the front page of the newspaper as the feature for the entire issue.

Particularly newsworthy features were moved to the sister publication, the Salmon Arm Observer.
