Abengoa Bioenergy - Colwich, KS August 2013 - Present

Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) Manager

Spearheaded plant safety programs to provide zero injuries during a 20

month retooling turnaround project and then restart-up of 26 million gallon

annually producing Bio-Ethanol producing plant. Assisted with and lead

continuous improvement by optimizing processes, teams, and systems through

collaboration with other areas.

Planned and delivered programs to train managers and employees in work site

safety practices. Promoted plant safety by working with Plant Leadership

and all departments to analyze safety trends and recommend safety

improvements.

Guided efficient performance of the quality functions (Lab) in order to

fulfill objectives as established by internal and external customer needs

and standards while meeting statutory and regulatory requirements related

to ethanol (ISO 9001).

Safety & Compliance Coordinator (Contractor)

Primary focus was contracted to provide strategic and visionary leadership

in developing SOP Program of Safety & Compliance and Human Resources

Policies & Procedures Guidelines for a full-service nationwide provider of

pharmaceutical courier services, distribution centers, warehousing and

logistical needs. Implemented safety program for transportation operations

to ensure continuous

compliance with OSHA, MVR, DOT & FMCSA regulations.

Developed a culture that assured safety in all work performed and safety

plans based on prior year's performance results. Coordinated safety

meetings to include all accidents, on road violations, and any changes in

regulations since last meeting. Established and maintained effective

incident corrective/preventive action plan system; driving reductions in

current safety performance metrics.

Established corporate on-line Safety Management Database System in

compliance with OSHA CFR and other associated regulatory and customer

compliance), for a staff of 200+ in a diversified employee manufacturing

HACCP), OSHA compliance, Medical Client's Joint Commissions, EPA and local

waste water treatment regulations and energy utilization standards.

Spearheaded market center production operations resulted in fulfillment of

8% growth, while achieving 17% reduction in labor, also 12% reduction in

utilities, and 4% reduction on overall total plant costs. Total
