Background

Dr. Alex Nowasell was born and raised in Tonganoxie Kansas. He went to University of St. Mary in Leavenworth,

KS where he achieved academic honors while earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.

Upon finishing his bachelor’s degree, Nowasell attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS to earn his

doctorate of Chiropractic, graduating cum laude. Dr. Nowasell has always had a great compassion for putting people back

on their feet and believes everyone should live their life to the fullest. He uses many methods and techniques to treat

patients of all ages. He also provides programs for pregnancy care, and occupational injury. As a college athlete and

Olympic weight lifter, he understands the unique concerns of student athletes, as well as “weekend warriors.” Dr.

Nowasell’s clinic is equipped with a state-of-the-art decompression system which offers non-surgical treatment for low

back pain.

Dr. Nowasell and his wife, Claire (Qiwei), were married in January 2014. Claire is currently a PhD candidate in Civil

Engineering at University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has worked as a research assistant at UMKC for the past four

years. She expects to graduate in May 2015 and looks forward to finding a civil engineering job in the Houston area.

Dr. Alex Nowasell and his wife Claire Nowasell are looking forward to settling down at southwest Houston and

serving the community.
