Work Experience

Associate RF Engineer

Mobile Net Services inc.,

Sprint Network Vision - CSFB Project under Peter Kraus, Ericsson. June 2014

• CSFB scheduling support - identifying sites for CSFB enablement and sectors for GSR (inter-band) and scheduling them for

migration and activation before site launch.

• Maintaining tracker, updating post CR activity - determining fallouts and assigning to respective groups.

• Manual audits of CSFB parameters nation-wide (4 OSS) to identify the sites with discrepancies between 3G and 4G and

correcting the parameters on 4G accordingly - additionally, SID updates for CSFB fallouts, RegZone updates during rehomes,

ATASK monitoring.

• Creating weekly report on the discrepancies observed on all the OSS with respect to each market.

• Generating CR tickets for CSFB activity.

WABA LTE Project under Rupesh Kapadia, ALU – AT&T January - May 2014

• Worked on SSV – Creating neighbor list, drive routes, coordinating with the drive team.

• Analyzing data using Actix – Stationary and mobility, generating KPI report (ANOVA report using Actix).

• Pre-launch optimization of the site – TNOL analysis, CINR analysis, identifying overshooters and pilot pollution regions,

suggesting parameter updates and event analysis through layer 3 messages with necessary recommendations.

• Working on MSV – Shakedown analysis for each site, coordinating with the drive team and optimizing the cluster.

• Got trained on UMTS network for WABA ALU (creating the neighbor list – inter and intra, drive routes, generating reports)

Sprint Network Vision Project under Gabriel Garcia, Ericsson. September – December 2013

• Worked as a market support for DFW/ETX market, project – rehomes - BTS to RBS on voice and EEGS to EVDO on data.

• Post-Optimization of CDMA – 3G network, voice and eegs, analyzing live data.

• Monitoring the KPI, identifying top offenders, auditing the necessary parameters (mainly MCTA, HHO, NL, pdb reconciliation,

IZP zone errors).

• Generating reports (calculating the KPI - identifying site issues after pre-launch).

RF Intern June - August 2013

Telecom Technology Services inc.,

Worked as drive tester under Chetan Dhaduk.

• Worked on cluster drive collecting data for T-Mobile using TEMS.

• Performed stationary test and mobility drive for each site.

• Identifying site issues and troubleshooting the kit when required.

• Worked on a JDSU e6474a wireless optimizing software for drive test to work on AT&T networks.

• Gained proficiency over MapInfo and field experience with LTE and GSM technologies.

Research Assistant January - May 2013

George Washington University, Electrical Engineering Department.

Worked under Prof. Dr. Suresh Subramaniam,

• Worked to develop routing strategy for optical core networks which are highly used as a backbone networks for internet as they

transmit with higher data rate.

• Analyzed Pan-European networks routing protocol in dynamic domain.

• Designed a C++ algorithm for deriving the best routing shortest path considering the wavelength availability, BER and energy

consumption for each link.

Project Assistant September - November 2011

Gannon University, Electrical Engineering Department.

Worked under Dr. Yong-Kyu Jung.

• Developed a special project “Real Time Simulator” which is used to send, receive and simulate any software model.

• Focused on hardware looping.

• Tested integrated circuits for designing a PCI card.

Completed Projects

Communication Assistance in Airlines using Touch Screen and Zigbee

• Designed a user friendly multi-language communication system.

• Tested the major components of the circuit.

• Focused on the hardware design.

Supersensitive Industrial Security System with Auto Dialer

• Designed an effective security alarm system that can monitor an industry with eight different sensors.

• Developed the main circuitry board and connected eight different sensors to it.

Academic Activities

• Participated and presented a Paper on “BIG BANG THEORY” conducted as part of ZAVTRA -09, a two day National level

Students Technical Symposium.

• Designed, developed and demonstrated “LAND ROVER” (ROBOTICS) in PROMETHEAN 2010, a two day National level

Technical Symposium.

• Participated and presented Poster on “ELECTRONIC EYE FOR BLIND PEOPLE” in CIENCIA – VIVA, 2K10, a two day

National level technical symposium.
