Engineering responsibilities included Longwall (LW) engineering logistics and planning, LW move
coordination, budgeting and equipment modifications/rebuild projects.
Used transferable skill-set to develop enhanced global Best Practice procedures for Longwall
Moves within BHP Billiton.
Logistical development of current systems in use, i.e. pump-able cribs for supplemental LW
tailgate roof support, zero-leakage concrete seals/installation and comprehensive LW shield
repair project
Directly responsible for the format development, successful team-building activities and meeting
facilitation of SJCC/JOY strategic alliance initiative
Expertly fulfilled the role of Shift Supervisor for several months while a permanent replacement

the safety and productivity of over 50 employees spread across 5 different crews. This was
