• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to include: PLCs, VFDs,
servos, CNCs, overloads, relays, coils, hydraulic lifts, pneumatic valves and pistons, flow controls, KEB
inverters, CAN bus, Siemens E-Stops, Cat5, RS-232, DB9 connectors, optical encoders, Moeller contactors,
QSI Smartwire diagnostics, dust collection, and air filtration system. Make changes to PLC programs for
efficient operations on over a dozen machines. Work with voltages from 480VAC 3 phase to 3VDC.
• Complete layouts for installation of equipment and perform Preventative Maintenance of machinery and
building assets. Rebuild electric motors, pneumatic pistons, and valve assemblies as needed. Conclude all
related work orders and parts requests for machine histories in a timely manner. Trained all operators and
supervisors for proper operation of machinery as well as proper daily and weekly cleaning of machines on
site.
• Machinery includes: Homag Edgebanders, Softformers, and Combiformers. Holzma angular saws. Ligmatech
conveyor systems, case clamps and strapping systems. Weeke, Biesse, Ritter, and Morbidelli boring
machines. Wulftec and Lantech stretch wrapping machine.

• Responsible for the installation, training, troubleshooting and maintenance of Homag, Brandt, Heesemann,
Butfering and several other machinery manufacturers including Ligmatech conveyor systems as well as
assisting our customers in the resolution of problems they may encounter in the future. Identify and correct
hardware failures, software discrepancies, programming problems, application issues, operations, training
and the isolation and identification of failures with associated equipment.
• Record and report the results of work performed and the problems encountered in the form of written
service reports. Report any major problems or customer dissatisfaction to Service Manager and Sales
Engineer as necessary and coordinate speedy resolutions to existing issues on machinery valued at up to
$500K each.

• Train multiple fleets and dealerships on installation and operation of Lane Departure Warning Systems
(LDW). Instructed fleets across the United States and Canada to include Schneider National, Prime Inc.,
Maverick Transportation, J.B. Hunt and FedEx Freight.
• Conceive and apply new install procedures and instructions for makes new to the LDW System and for
updates on existing models. Responsible for all field installs and troubleshooting issues related to LDW
System on commercial vehicles operating in the U.S. and Canada. Manufacturers include Freightliner, Volvo,
Peterbilt, International, Mack, Mercedes-Benz and automotive OEMs such as the Infiniti FX, EX, M, and QX
series vehicles.
• Created field service department processes and procedures. Established customer database and installation
documentation. Interact with Customers, QA, Sales, Shipping, Production and Engineering and on a weekly
basis.

• Tested MCI network issues on international, long distance, local circuits and fiber to repair reported customer
trouble tickets while coordinating remote testing and dispatches to AT&T, Qwest, Verizon, PacBell, Sprint and
BellSouth customers or equipment sites.
• Troubleshoot with customer, NOC, field, OC192 fiber systems and local LEC technicians in a 24/7 network
testing environment using Titan 5500, Alcatel 1630 and 1631 DACS. ETMS, Scopus, Remedy and Rescue
ticketing software. Tested with React 2001, ITAS, ITS and Tarantella.
