Description:

Galileo International is one of the world's leading providers of

electronic global distribution services for the travel industry. The

Company provides travel agencies at approximately 36,000 locations, as well

as other subscribers, with the ability to access schedule and fare

information, book reservations and issue tickets for 525 airlines, 48 car

rental companies, and more than 200 major hotel chains with approximately

35,000 properties throughout the world.

The overall objective of this project is to develop and maintain a

complete Business Intelligence system. This project involves creation of

various types like list, cross tab, charts. Sometimes Dashboards types of

reports were needed for the better understanding. The reports were prepared

from the data arising from various organizations.

Responsibilities:

. Responsible for Client's Global Business Operations-Reporting Off-

shore team.

. Designed Universes using designer by retrieving data from database,

using Derived tables, defining the necessary connections and exported

them to specific universe domains.

. Import and Export the universes to the Repository to make resources

available to the users.

. Created Classes (Sub classes), Objects, Predefined conditions and user

defined objects and custom Hierarchies for drill down purposes.

. Worked with database connections, cardinalities, loops, aliases,

aggregate conditions, parsing of objects, and hierarchies.

Description:

The Atlanta Parma is a subsidiary of a large German based

pharmaceutical company. It manufactures and markets pharmaceutical drugs.

The customer manufactures more than 100 products in different locations,

and sells its products from different locations to across the world.

Designed and built a data warehouse (DW), which consolidated data from

sales, distribution, accounting, budgeting. Some of the key reports

delivered as a part of this solution were, Top 100 customers by sales

value, sales and profit analysis of Atlanta Parma.

Responsibilities:

. Involved in requirement analysis gathering and developed functional

document.

. Created Dashboards for Top management using Xcelsius 2008 using Live

Office and QAAWS.

. Created Web Intelligence Documents.

Developed critical reports like drill down, Slice and Dice, master/detail

for Business analysis.

. Created different types of reports such as master/ detail, cross tab,

and chart for trend analysis.

The Healthcare United Agency is an Executive Agency of the UK

Department of Health protecting and promoting public health and patient

safety by ensuring that medicines, healthcare products and medical

equipment meet appropriate standards of safety, quality, performance and

effectiveness, and are used safely.

The Healthcare United Agency Programmed will introduce a new way of

working supported by modernized and integrated systems. In particular -

Greater electronic collaboration between the Agency and its stakeholders,

Cross-Agency workflow, Standardized approach to electronic document

management, extending the United Kingdom Regularity Agency existing range

of online healthcare information.

Responsibilities:

. Developed universe using Designer module in Business Objects.

. Created universe from infocube.

. Extracted the BW queries to BO Environment and designed as per client

view.

. Created Web Intelligence reports from Bex as per the client

requirement.

. Developed and created classes with Dimension, Detail & Measure

objects.

. Specified the joins and checked the cardinalities. Resolved loops by

creating aliases and context.
