OBJECTIVE

A&P mechanic with Current US Passport expiration date 10/6/2019, Active DOD Secret Security Clearance expiration date 9/4/2022 seeks employment where skills and experience will be utilized.

AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCE

Corporate A&P Mechanic, accomplished major inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance and servicing on Hawker Beechcraft 700/800XP, Cessna 560, Learjet 35/45, Dassault Falcon 50/900/2000, Sundstrand T-62-39/40 auxiliary power unit (APU) and Honeywell TFE 731 engines. Removed and replaced landing gear struts, tires and brakes. Replaced aircraft engines, APU, starter generators, ignition leads, igniters, fuel and oil filters. Performed engine operational checks, APU operational checks and pressurization checks. Taxied aircraft to maintenance area performing thrust reverser and compass alignment checks.

Transient Aircraft Technician, coordinate parking and Follow-Me services for transient aircraft. Launched/recovered aircraft, performed flight control checks, panel security checks, tire roll over checks and ramp FOD inspection prior to taxi. Perform walk around inspections, refueled, serviced engine oil and installed ejection seat pins. De-Iced and secure transient aircraft that remain overnight.

Flight Line Mechanic, F-4, KC-135, US Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) 43171 and 2A571. Performed launch/recovery, flight control checks, pre-flight, post flight and thru flight inspections. Serviced fuel, oxygen and hydraulic systems. Inspected and installed accumulators, actuators, manifolds, windshields, canopies, panels, tires and brakes. Performed landing gear retraction checks, operational checks of electrical and hydraulic systems. Replaced aircraft batteries, navigational lights and anti-collision lights.

Senior mechanic DC-8, completed C and D check inspections. Inspected and repaired fuel leaks, using scrapers, hand tools and sealant. Identified and removed corrosion using pneumatic grinders. Applied alodine, dinitrol, primer and polyurethane paint. Replaced, modified and installed sheet metal parts. Fabricated skin panels, replaced cracked brackets, repaired flight control surfaces and engine cowling. Operated a broad range of machining and hand tools, rivet gun, pneumatic drill, shears and brake press.

Directed phase inspections, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Supervised inspection, O-ring replacement, re-assembly of hydraulic actuators and landing gear shock struts. Performed maintenance on primary flight controls, rigging flight control cables, push pull rods, actuators and lockboxes.

Performed C-141 and C-5 program depot maintenance (PDM). Inspected, repaired, installed and rigged landing gear struts. Accomplished rigging and functional check of forward complex, aft ramp system, nose wheel steering and crew entry door. Replaced defective hydraulic tubing, hoses and swivels.
