L-3 Essco, Ayer, MA: Design Engineer I (June 2012- Feb 2014)

L-3 Essco is the world leader in ground based composite and metal space frame Radomes. Work

extensively with Solidworks as lead draftsmen to model and design many aspects of new products. I

oversaw production of the metal space frame product line by creating shop drawings and interfacing with

sales and manufacturing. Work extensively with Solidworks as lead draftsmen to model and design many

aspects of new products being produced. Played large part in the design of the new FHR Radome.

Saint-Gobain Crystals, Milford, NH: Mechanical Intern (June 2011-September 2011)

Saint-Gobain Crystals technology involves sapphire crystal growth used for high brightness LED’s for

solid state lighting. I worked on developing feeders for material input at a specified rate into a furnace for

crystal growth. Each feeder was built and tested to specifications. I created several Solidworks drawings

to implement the design.

Additional Experience:

FIRST Robotics- Team Captain: FIRST robotics competition consisted of building a robot to complete

an objective (typically a game) and compete amongst other teams. Several aspects of the engineering

fields were incorporated into the design including mechanical design, electrical wiring, CAD drawings,

programming, and basic structural design. Received first place in WPI’s Battle Cry 8 Competition. Winter
