2012 - 2014

PROJECT MANAGER - Sumitomo Cryogenics of America, Allentown, PA

2011

Sumitomo, a Japanese owned company, is engaged in the engineering and sale

of cryogenic cooler equipment that is used with medical MRI super conductor

magnets.

As contract Project Manager, I assisted in this program during the

development of a new helium cryocooler, responsible for procurement of

components, scheduling tests and reporting on progress.

This activity was suspended because of logistic complications resulting

from the tsunami in Japan.

PROJECT MANAGER - HED International, Ringoes, NJ

2008 - 2010

HED Int'l is an engineering and manufacturing company engaged in the sale

of resistance heated and gas fired conveyorized ovens, furnaces and coating

systems.

As contract Project Manager, I performed activities that included;

procurement of equipment, export shipment, on-site installation supervision

and successful commissioning of a 145 ft. long, 12 zone, fully automated,

conveyorized electric oven system located in Chongqing, P.R. China. That

unit is in operation calcining catalyst modules that are used for

application with coal fired electric power stations to reduce NOX exhaust

emissions.

PROJECT MANAGER - SELAS FLUID Corp. / T-Thermal, Blue Bell, PA

2006 - 2008

(A subsidiary of Linde AG)

Selas Fluid an engineering and manufacturing company engaged the sale of

refinery and petrochemical furnaces, thermal oxidizers for disposal of

hazardous waste and cryogenic vaporizers.

As contract Project Manager, I managed the conceptual layout design,

budget, schedule, supplier procurement terms & conditions. Supervised;

engineering, purchasing, expediting, QC inspections, shipment of components

and site installation. The equipment consisted of a fully automated, 100

million BTU/ HR low NOX fume and liquid waste incinerator system with

support structure, waste heat boiler, quench, absorber column, ionizing

scrubber and an 80 foot high exhaust stack. The system, valued at

$8,200,000, is installed at Dow Corning in Midland, MI.

CAREER PATH

PV/T Inc., mentioned below, was sold to Consarc / Inductotherm in 2003. As

a condition of sale, I and other key personnel were given a 2 year

continuation employment contract with a conditional

5 five year non-compete which expired in 2010. Consarc personnel were

trained and assumed full responsibility for PV/T products. To honor the non-

compete, I chose employment as a Contract Project Manager from 2005 through

to 2011 as described above.

During my 23 year tenure I progressed in a series of positions from Product

Manager to Sales & Engineering Manager to General Manager for 18 years.

PV/T is an engineering and manufacturing company engaged in the sale of

fully automated, vacuum furnaces for heat treating and casting

metallurgical applications.

I prepared pre-engineering calculations, estimates, quotations, sales

presentations, closed orders, managed production, shipment, installation

and commissioning of furnace systems of the following product lines; 1) '

Heat Treating Furnaces' utilized for brazing aircraft & automotive heat

exchangers, electronic components and cryogenic plate fin heat exchangers,

2) ' Investment Casting Furnaces' utilized in the production of super alloy

single crystal jet engine and industrial gas

turbine blades and vanes, 3) ' Master Melt Furnaces' for casting ingots of

super alloys, precious metals, rare earth metals and battery alloys, 4)'

Inert Gas Atomization Powder Metal Furnaces'.

Accomplishments at PV/T Inc.:

V Sold, engineered and managed an average of five large capital

equipment orders annually.

V Transformed the company from a job shop to a standard product company.
