incident four times. Received eight Gold Awards and two Silver Awards from Huntsman for the

safe handling of Methyl Diphenyl Diisocyanate (MDI).

Responsible for the planning, coordinating and compliance of MIOSHA regulations at two copper

and brass tubing facilities with a total of 230 employees. Produced a Machine Specific Lockout

Manual to comply with MIOSHA Standard Part 85, The Control of Hazardous Energy Sources.

Implemented an employee incentive program which helped reduce recordable injuries by 38%.

Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and providing functional direction for the millwide

Loss Control/Safety & Worker’s Compensation programs for this 300 employee paper mill

union facility. Our OSHA Incident Rate improved by 48%. Worker’s Compensation expenses

were reduced by 62%. Researched and purchased new ergonomic equipment, which resulted in

a 50% decrease of back injuries.
