Presently working with M/s ABB Limited as Asst. Vice President (Power System) and
Group/Vertical head for Power projects 600MW and above and responsible for complete project
management for executing Electrical balance of plant facilities for :-
a) 2x600MW Thermal Power project for M/s Coastal Energen Pvt. Ltd., Tuticorin.
b) 400 KV GIS for Coastal Energen Pvt. Ltd. comprising of 6 Bays.
c) 2x800MW Thermal Power project for APGENCO through Tata Project Limited coming up
at Krishnapattanam.
d) 2x660MW Thermal Power Project for M/s NCC Ltd., Hyderabad.
e) 2x210MW Thermal Power Project for Surana Power Projects, Chennai.
Current responsibilities include:-
Ensure completion of the project within budgeted cost estimate & project schedule while
improving the profit margins estimated at the time of receiving order inclusive of Risk

battery charger etc. by maintaining the profit margins intact and also improving the margins by
engineering Optimizations, Vendor negotiations, controlling man hour deployment,reducing

More than 60% Site execution work is completed since release of partial fronts two months back.

Authority, New Delhi as per the Basic Engineering done by M/s Tata Consulting Engineers,
Bangalore.
- Interfaced with Water Resource Department, Environment department, Central pollution
control Board, Gujarat Electricity Board for necessary approvals and sanctions.
- Was responsible for procurement of following Main equipments inclusive of review of DBR &
Specification, preparation of TER, Techno-commercial evaluation of offer considering

responsible for Electrical maintenance of plant and the accomplishments during O&M phase is
as under:-
- Finalization of Annual Electrical Maintenance Contract for main plant and BOP.
- Coordinated efforts for smooth implementation of AMC’s.
- Co-ordinating effective execution of Annual Maintenance Contracts and Annual Service
contracts by proper planning & scheduling of activities during Annual shut down and carrying
out day-to-day maintenance of Electrical System of 2 X125 MW CFBC thermal power plant.
- Successfully maintained Power Systems viz. 220KV switchyard, EHV transformers, 6.6KV
HT power Switchboards, Cabling Network, Distribution transformers, 415V LT switchboards,
Earthing equipments, 6.6KV squirrel cage /slip ring induction HT motors, actuators, Valves,
6.6KV overhead lines.
- Directed the testing of protective relays and co-ordinated the relay settings.
- Finalized annual rate contract for servicing of 6.6KV SF6 Breakers/ vacuum circuit
