Reported to the Business Manager for Europe Tier 1 and to the Sales &
Marketing Director Europe. responsible for co-ordinating European
activities through an intercontinental team to identify and develop new
markets and products, and where necessary, start collaboration agreements
with other Tier 1 suppliers to win and develop business, revenue and
profitability. In Automotive field Collaboration Agreements included
Magneti Marelli for Engine Management Systems for FIAT, GM Opel and
Volkswagen. In New Markets field, attained funding from HQ to develop non-
automotive initiative and start Collaboration Agreements with Dell'Orto and
Rotax-Bombardier for Motorcycle EMS with Piaggio Group, Ducati, Triumph and
Hero in India. Fuel Management System Programs and Advanced Brake System
programs were conducted directly with OEMs and other light vehicle
customers. With initial revenue of zero, activities were put in place to
attain business, products and manufacturing footprint of more than E100m
per year by 2010 in EMEA, APA and Americas.

million per year, at the end of the assignment business was projected to

Worked as a private business and product development consultant with
selected British and Italian companies on business development programmes
in the engineering and automotive industry, and serving as "the British
Trade Representative Turin" acting on behalf of the British Consulate

definition and costs, reorganisation of my department into
multidisciplinary platform teams for better project management, Improved
