PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am currently in my final year of study at the University of Huddersfield. I am studding logistics

and supply chain management where I am looking to begin a career relating the degree

studied. I am graduating in May of 2015 with a 2:1 grade point average, equivalent to a 3.55 in

the United States.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Intern at Hellmann World Wide logistics EWR branch 2013-2014

I worked as an intern at international freight forwarder Hellmann World Wide Logistics at the

EWR branch. It was an opportunity I have been truly grateful to have been selected for. I was

been able to work as part of the ocean export, air export and import departments at the

Hellmann EWR branch. I was able communicate with a variety of shippers, customers,

overseas and domestic truckers, and various Hellmann gateways along with customs. The

position has also given me a great understanding of what is needed in the actual operation of

moving a shipment on an international level. I also gained a large in-sight it to the role of

freight forward and how they work to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

Scheduling pick up and delivery with various trucking companies

Billing

Contacting domestic and international Hellman offices

Communicating with shippers and consignees

Booking with airlines and shipping lines

Securing shipping documents
