Achievements & Some of the responsibilities handled:

a) Implementation of Hydraulic Engine Mounting system for Nano Diesel first

time in TATA Motors for reduction of low frequency vibration. (Cheapest

Hydraulic mount in the world so serve this unique purpose)

b) Successfully reduced high and low frequency vibration by optimizing

performance of Hydraulic engine mount through various design of

experiments.

c) Successful commonisation of Engine mounting system over platform which

will significantly reduce per part cost without compromising the

performance aspect.

d) Team Leader in resolution of JDP issues & quality improvement drives,and solved problem by effective problem solving

methodology.(EPS,QCStory,8D approach) along with cross functional team.

e) Successfully implemented most of the cost reduction ideas on various

platforms from engine mount and respective brackets.

f) Engine mounts & respective arm modeling and optimization along with

resolution of manufacturing concerns in design and solving it in

structured way.

g) Modeling of detailed ADAMS model to predict the dynamic behavior of

powertrain to analysize powertrain mounting system key concerns in early

stage. like Key On-off, tip-in tip-out, steering wheel vibration,

Driver seat rail vibration in various loading condition.

h) Gather and flow customer technical requirements to supplier and ensure

compliance with the contract.

i) Ensure the supplier has all required information from both

manufacturing and the customers to complete the design/development

process which ensures meeting all given targets.

j) Work with the supplier and vehicle packaging specialists to finalize

the mounting configuration.

k) Work closely with the supplier to ensure development hardware and Test

Job Requests (TJRs) are available on time to meet the Engine Validation

Plan (DVP)

l) Execute standard work and show compliance with Customer and Regulatory

Agency Requirements.
