Mr. Amalfitano has more than 20 years experience in piping design and plant

layout. His specific experience includes, but is not limited to

Refineries, Chemical plants, Power plants (fossil and nuclear), Off Shore

Platforms, Process plants, toxic waste disposal units and water treatment

facilities. Responsibilities have included detailed piping design drawings

either done manually or on CAD; checking an area after design of a unit is

completed; doing definitive estimates for clients prior to doing real work;

and Area Lead Designer which involved manpower supervision and scheduling.

Representative Assignments include:

Lead piping designer, Train 9 PolyPropylene unit, Fina Chemical Crop.,

LaPorte, Texas. Responsible for the total layout and design of the upper

seven levels of the Flash Co-Poly Unit. This area included over 30 pieces

of equipment and generated 27 plans and 600 Iso's. All drawings were

totally intelligent using CAD-Pipe Design software.

Lead Piping Designer, Xylene Splitter Expansion Project, Valero Chemical,

Corpus Christi, Texas. Responsibilities included layout and design of all

underground systems such as oily water, storm and fire protection. These

were done on the computer using CAD-Pipe software. Other duties included

checking a tower and related pump area (plans and Iso's). Also helped

scrub CAD plans and Iso's to make ready for I.F.C. (issue for

construction).

Lead Piping Designer, Polypropylene Line 3 Project, Solvay Polymers Inc.,

Deer Park, Texas. Responsibilities included layout of initial plot plans,

equipment layout two loop reactors, orientation of nozzles and platforms on

towers, developing plans and Iso's on CAD using CAD-Pipe Software and also

spent time at the job site routing tie-ins and off-site piping.

Senior Piping Designer, Polymer Project, Vista Chemical Plant, Lake

Charles, Louisiana. Responsibilities included off-sites portion of the

project. Supervised five other designers. The majority of the piping

involved on this project was Dow PPL lined pipe.

Senior Piping Designer, New MTB Unit, CITGO Refinery, Corpus Christi,

Texas. Responsibilities included layout and design involving a salt dryer,

four pumps and various pieces of equipment. This was done on the computer

using MicroStation software.

Senior Piping Designer, New Hess Refinery, St. Croix, Virgin Island.

Responsibilities included Piping Inspector during construction. After

installation, the system was checked to verify conformance to all drawings

and specifications. Once installation was satisfactory, hydrotesting was

authorized.

Senior Piping Designer, Offsites Revamp Project, UNOCAL Refinery, Los

Angeles, California. Responsibilities included locating and routing tie-

ins.

Lead Piping Designer on the following projects: - Responsibilities

included engineering, procurement and over see construction until start-up.

. Titanium Dioxide Plant, Kerr McGee, Hamiliton, Mississippi.
