Laboratory Work

Concrete testing Lab: Design, make and test concrete mixes in accordance with ASTM standards. Tests include Gradation of Aggregates, Slump, Air Content, Yield and Density, Compressive Strength, Economizing Mix Designs.

Soil Testing Lab: Test soil properties and compare to calculated values. Tests include Visual/ Manual Identification, Atterberg Limits, Hydrometer Analysis, Specific Gravity, Clay Consolidation, and Direct Shear.

Hydraulics Lab: Open channel and closed conduit hydraulics.
