Responsibilities:

- As a Technical Advisor/Manager was responsible for

research, overall design, implementation and maintenance of

front-end, Content Management, Data Entry and Validation

online food-ordering internet start-up. Using Agile

Responsibilities:

- As a contractor and technical leader, worked on 4

"obsolete" technology elimination projects as well as

multiple other projects, including New Case Management

system.

- Utilizing the automated conversion tool, various ConEdison

Systems still using PL/I, RAMIS and other old programming

languages are being gradually replaced by latest COBOL-DB2-

IMS platform. Moving to a modern platform with state-of-the-

art development tools provides faster maintenance changes,

- Technically leading the group of contractors, was involved

in conversion of 4 Systems. Converted PET (Portable

Electronic Terminal System) and DEMS (Distribution

Equipment Management System) from PL/I to Enterprise

COBOL/IMS and CORS (Commercial Operations Reporting System)

and ECS (Emergency Control System) from RAMIS to COBOL/DB2.

As in previous conversion efforts, was involved in all

aspects of conversion process from analysis and environment

setup to program remediation, query tune-up, QA and

maintenance.

10/2004 - 10/2005 PCH (Publishers Clearing House)

Responsibilities:

- As a consultant for PCH IS department, was involved in the

Marketing Groups so called Beta Elimination Conversion

Project. The goal of this project was to convert all

statistical SAS programs called models' into Batch

Enterprise COBOL/DB2 programs making the overall process

faster and more flexible. With more than one hundred DB2

tables, some of them with over 1 billion rows, this system

is one of the most complicated of its kind.

- Wrote a compact standalone process for Name and Address

system (NAD) and Refunds Interface process for Billing and

Lawson.

- Responsibilities included SAS code variables analysis,

elimination of non-processing steps, COBOL program coding,

debugging and comparing result sets of the old SAS programs

with new COBOL, explaining the differences, tuning up SQL

queries, documenting and reporting the work progress.

- Provided technical advice to programmers unfamiliar with

DB2, because unlike the old variable length flat file only

process, the new COBOL method also accesses large volume

DB2 tables, where data is arranged by the relational model

rules.

Responsibilities:

- As a consultant, worked for Systems In-Sourcing Project at

DTCC. The DTCC has decided to Insource the Clearance and

Settlement applications and associated services hosted at

Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC) in order

to reduce costs and create a single consolidated

infrastructure for Clearance and Settlement of securities

transactions.

- Was responsible for all phases of conversion process of 3

systems - Billing, CAD and settlement. Corporate Actions

Database System or CAD is a DB2 based system with

PowerBuilder Interface, designed to process dividend and

interest distributions on corporate equities and corporate

debt. The Billing System (Batch and CICS) is also DB2

based, it runs under several high level qualifiers and

consists of information emanating from virtually every

production system that requests in monthly billables to

DTCC participants. Settlement is a File/Batch COBOL

Application that provides a payment vehicle for firms to

pay commission charges to brokers for executions done on

the NYSE and AMEX floors. These three systems together use

more than 500 jobs and 100 tables. Was also involved in

migration of Correspondent Clearing (COR) System, Index

Products (SPD/FCB) and Direct Clearing System (DCS).

- Was responsible for all steps of conversion - determined

and documented inventory of system components, identified

cross-system dependencies, created application overview

documents, requested access authorization (RACF, TRANID,

DB2 Plans, Views etc.) and data transfers, submitted all

kinds of requests for Test and Production, CICS and Batch,

identified obsolete and missing components,

recompiled/bound programs, modified JCLs and PROCs,

conducted unit and end-to-end testing, suggested data

movement, created comparison jobs, replicated schedule,

created test plan and chart of the job flow, worked closely

with CA-7 group to resolve scheduling issues, conducted

shakedown and parallel system runs in Production, monitored

results. Participated in the creation of decommission

documents and initial maintenance of migrated applications.

Patriot Act project that required Legal and Mailing

address, Proof of Identity and Date of Birth to be

collected for all parties on the account. Also worked on

The Prudential Securities Wachovia Closing project.

- The responsibilities were to analyze, create

specifications, code Batch and CICS programs, create OPC

schedule, test and keep in sync Production and Special Test

environment created to simulate Production. Coordinated

communication between Home Office users and developers.

Also maintained existing applications, ran user requests,

created reports.

Responsibilities:

- Worked in the household part of the Client Profile System

as a Technical Leader and was responsible for the design,

development and implementation of Financial Blueprint

software.

- This tool is a group of graphical interface screens (HTML

with JavaScript) on the front-end and DB2/CICS/Batch in the

background, that allows the Financial Advisor to group

their client s accounts and input information on the client

which is used to determine an appropriate asset allocation

and a targeted rate of return, a number based on historical

returns, that represents the yield the client wishes to

receive on their investments. The main purpose of another

project the eSTATEMENTS project was to provide clients with

a single integrated and personalized online view of their

official account statements across all lines of business.

Also worked on a similar eCONFIRMs project, that gives

clients the ability to view trade or transaction confirms

online instead of receiving the paper ones.

- Was responsible for design of systems architecture, coding

Batch and Online modules, DB2 Stored Procedures, analysis

and integration into existing systems, scheduling,

coordination with other developers and production

personnel, communication with users after implementation,

maintenance of existing systems.

- Received Business Achievement Award for Financial Blueprint

project.

- Worked in the Client Profile System and was responsible for

the development and installation of Package-Specific

Document Tracking Project. The package level processing

made the Document Tracking Screens of the system more

informative, more reflective of reality and more useful to

- Was responsible for design of the system flowchart and its

several DB2 tables. Was responsible for the creation of all

new Online and Batch modules that determined the necessity

of account information and more. Modified existing CICS and

batch programs, JCLs and PROCs to accommodate the new

process. Wrote programs to populate DB2 tables and to

extract data from them, wrote Reporting programs to reflect
