Project: Automobile Spike Guard: (May 2013-April 2014)

Project Details: Everyday hundreds of accident occurs in the world but of this accident the actual

reason behind the accident is not known like was the driver over-speeding, was he/she wearing the

seatbelt, etc. So the actual reason behind selecting the project comes from here.The device is

designed primarily to record many kinds of alphanumerical data such as the velocity, the driver’s

vision/drowsiness state and the current distance to lateral road marks. In addition to this, it also

incorporates various safety and accident prevention features such as detection of alcohol, unfastened

seatbelts and faulty brake system. It also has an accelerometer which can sense the speed and plus

tilt. It has a GPS module which locates the vehicle. The information about the speed, location is

recorded in the Micro SD card. If an accident occurs a responsible person can remove the SD card

from the device and check the log of the driver. This type of this device can help the insurance

agency, and police to find out the real cause of accident.

Project Name: Automatic Petrol Pump: (July 2010- December 2010)

Project Gist: The goal of the project was to design a device such that when a vehicle comes to a

petrol pump, it senses the vehicle code and gives the user several options. This was possible using

RFID transceiver. The project was implemented using RFID sensors which was on both side, the

microcontroller which was programmed in C language and a dc motor which was controlled by the

microcontroller. When a vehicle comes to a petrol pump RFID sensor on the petrol pump side tracks

the code of the vehicle and gives the user option for amount of petrol to be filled. The option apart

from filling the petrol was to recharge the RFID card.
