This project included Forecasting, SCM, Promotion and Market Skills and

Competitive Analysis at Costco. Forecasting covers seasonality, Demand

Management through CRX, Top-down, bottom-up and pyramid forecasting.

Reviewed historical sales trend, researched and gathered demand drivers

to develop bottom up demand plan by SKU and align to top down financial

target.

> Truck Forecasting with time series analysis

This Project work aims to propose Forecasting the eastbound and westbound

monthly truck volume of blue water bridge from 2011 to 2013 by applying

the different time series models and select the best one for forecasting.

Methods used were Central Moving Average, liner trend line with seasonal

adjustment, exponential smoothing technique and linear regression

forecasting model.

> Reduction in WIP and LT using lot-sizing techniques

This Project work aims to propose different Lot sizing techniques for

Manufacturing Cell and select the best one for lot sizing. Methods used

were EOQ, POQ, Silver Meal Heuristic, Least Unit Cost model, Q-Lots.

These methods give Lot size. Results from Q Lots are compared validated

with simulation method.

> Project Management for CSUEB parking mobile application design

This Project work aims to propose project management for an automated

messaging system for CSUEB parking management using mobile application

for students who purchase the quarterly parking permit. Methodologies

compared are waterfall and Agile Scrum project management.
