Horizon Emergency Care is part of the family of Horizon Clinical, which is a comprehensive suite of integrated
solutions provided by McKesson Provider Technologies. The Horizon Clinical products were created to unify the clinical
process by linking all patient encounters across care settings and clinical disciplines. The Horizon Emergency Care (also
referred to as HEC) modules Tracking Board and Documentation Module are designed for clinicians and physicians to
document emergency care and treatment of patients. The application’s functions encompass the entire patient encounter.
The project features patient tracking, knowledge-driven documentation and coding, electronic order/results
communication, discharge information and management reporting.
Responsibilities
• Tested Horizon Emergency Care (HEC) and Tracking Board utilizing HEC Configuration Tool.
