Production Manager Plastics/DDBPM Assembly operations
Responsible for the day to day operations of the captive plastic molding
operation at NIDEC Motor Corp plant in Paragould, Arkansas,
manufacturing an average of 3.5 million plastic parts per month for
assembly plants in Ohio, Reynosa and Juarez Mexico. 23 presses from 33
to 300 tons processing both Thermoplastic and Thermoset (BMC) molding
compounds.
Assumed responsibility for Direct Drive BPM assembly operations in
addition to plastics in November of 2013. Two assembly lines producing
Stators and Rotors at a production rate of 3,000 motors per day.
Key accountabilities
. Manufacture parts in sufficient quantities to satisfy production
demand, while maximizing efficiency and maintaining minimum
inventory levels.
. Establish and maintain all processes and routings necessary to
ensure part quality and work with Engineering to optimize material
flow and handling.
. Direct the daily activities of the maintenance and die shop
departments to ensure the proper and safe operation of all plastic
molding machines and production molds.
