Handling all Raw material Planning, plant stock, Transit material and final database for

material.

Check production consumption and forecasting to plan material.

Finalize the cost of Products including the cost of transportation, contract, landed cost,

etc.

Deals with Transport Agencies and finalize the rate for each consignment, Preparing work

order and checking of bills.

Co-ordinate with overseas supplier, freight forwarder, CHA and production department.

Negotiation of rates for various sectors with freight forwarders and CHA.

Coordinate with the freight forwarders and ensure logistics as per prescribed time frames.

Look after the formalities related to Imports, Exports and customs, classification, etc.

Prepare the supporting outward documents.

Plan dispatch schedule as per orders, and Arrange for labour & transport for lifting

consignment. And Line up with transport agency for tracking consignment in transit.

Maintaining supplier’s documents such as challan, invoice, bills, etc.

Co-ordinate with different department like QC, production, Account, Purchase &,

production planning, quality testing, bills approval, dispatch planning.

COMMERCIAL FUNCTIONS:

Bill verification of supplier for payments.

Prepare credit and debit notes.

Periodic evaluation of transporters performance v/s agreement.

Verification of periodic bills submitted by transporter.

Liaison with octroi checkpoint authorities for clearing consignments.

Line up for insurance claims through open policy or transport agency.
