PROJECT

->Design and fabrication of parabolic solar water heater

This project is all about designing and fabricating a parabolic solar

water heater .It involves utilization of solar energy for domestic

purposes .It has a parabolic dish which is made by placing an

aluminum sheet over a parabolic stand which is made of wood .This

parabolic dish is placed over a stand which holds the disc and is

rotatable about a certain axis in order to adjust according to the

sun's position The solar energy converges at the focus of the

parabolic dish where the temperature would be quite high and this

energy can now be harnessed and can be utilize.

->HOVERCRAFT

This project is about making a hovercraft. It involves cutting a

plywood disc in circular shape and drilling two holes one at the

Center and the other one exactly in between the center and the edge.

This hole should fit the end of the leaf blower. Then a large plastic

sheet is to be used and the circular disc is to be enclosed by using

this plastic sheet. To attach this on to the plywood a staple gun

should be used. Then six vent holes of 2 in diameter are to be done

all around the Centre. Then the leaf blower hose is connected to the

hole which was placed in between the center and the edge.

I am an active member of an NGO (Apex Skill development and Training)

and have conducted various camps for Muskaan (Old clothes

distribution).

Participated in Blood donation camp organized by Red Cross.
