Geophysicist. Graduated from IPN (National Politechnical Institute of

Mexico), in 1973. Member of the first generation of geophysicists in

M xico.

Post graduated:

Mastery in Engineering in exploration of energetic resources of the earth

realized in UNAM (National Autonomous University of M xico). From 1989 to

1991.

Studies of Total Quality Administration from 1995 to 1996. Courses teached

by instructors from ITESM Campus Estado de M xico.

JOB EXPERIENCE OUTSIDE PEMEX:

Working as Geophysicist adviser in Litoral de Tabasco Asset (PEMEX) from

march until December 2014 in Paraiso, Tabasco Mexico.

Working as Geophysicist adviser in Abkatun Pol Chuc Pemex Asset from march

until December 2013 in Paraiso Tabasco.

Teacher in Trainnig courses for young people to be contracted for PEMEX.

From 1974 to 1977 I Worked in CETENAL (nowadays INEGI). During the first

year I realized activities of Remote Sensing, interpreting satellite images

and other activities. In 1975 I was involved in an oceanographic cruise of

the University of the South California (USC) in the Gulf of California, in

which there were acquired seismic and magnetic data and samples of the sea

bed. Later I formed part of an interdisciplinary group where were realized

programs for the development of the Aguascalientes State, the Altos de

Jalisco Dairy Basin and the Port of L zaro C rdenas, Michoac n.

In this period, also I was member of a multidisciplinary team that

elaborated the preliminary project of government for the senator Dr .

Francisco Luna Kan, elect candidate for the Yucatan State government.

The last year I was working at the department of geodesy working in the

recovery and reconstruction of geodesic vertexes and level banks of first

order.

JOB EXPERIENCE INSIDE PEMEX:

From August 18, 2003 until May 2, 2010 (I got my retirement on May 3,

2010), I was commissioned in the Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM, as

teacher of mastery teaching the subjects: Seismic Exploration,

Interpretation of Special Seismic Processes and Volumetric Evaluation.

During this period I also was reviewing thesis of mastery. Likewise I was

sinodal in examinations of degree and of mastery. In this period I got the

position of Specialist Coordinator (Submanager) of Academic Entail with

Universities and Institutes.

From September, 2002 until August, 2003 I was working together with Dr.

Alistair R. Brown giving advisings in all the assets of Exploration about

seismic amplitude anomalies in approved locations close to be drilled and

in exploratory locations in process of documentation. During the year 2002

and 2003 additionaly I was reviewing the documentation of locations in the

Projects Cuichapa, of the Asset Salina del Istmo, Misantla and Lankahuasa

of the Misantla-gulf of Mexico asset, Reynosa and Camargo of the Reynosa

asset and Coatzacoalcos of the Asset of Coastal Exploration.

From 2002 I was collaborating in the implantation of the Integrated Process

of Volumetric Evaluation and Probabilities of Geological and Commercial

Success, giving workshops and validating the exploratory opportunities

database. For the implantation of the mentioned process, I gave 62

workshops about seismic amplitude anomalies in several assets of

Exploration and some Integral assets, together with Dr. Scott Mackay of the

company Western. Aditionally I teached 1 workshop on seismic amplitude

anomalies and AVO together with Dr. John Castagna.

In February 22, 1999 I was promoted definitively to the category of

Technical Specialist "A" in the Coordination of Strategies of Exploration,

nowadays Division of Exploration, in the city of Villahermosa, Tabasco.

From October 13, 1998 to February 21, 1999 I was commissioned in the

Management of Diagnosis and Risk Analysis in the Executive Coordination of

Strategies of Exploration headquarters in Villahermosa, Tabasco. From

January to August, 1998 I was commissioned in the interdisciplinary group

of production of the General Superintendence of Districts of Exploitation

Veracruz, realizing activities of seismic data interpretation. From

December 8, 1996 to November 3, 1997 I was commissioned in Houston, Texas

to collaborate in the joint project Andrews Group International - Pemex

Exploration and Production of characterization of tertiary gas reservoirs

of Veracruz fields, realized in the facilities of the company AGI Inc. In

these project I worked as leader of the PEMEX personnel. From August, 1995

to December, 1996 I worked as interpreter in a multidisciplinary group of

delimiting fields in Veracruz District.

In 1993 I worked in the technical audits realized to seismological crews

for the company Intera Technologies. From January to March, 1993 I

collaborated in the beginning of operations of the seismic telemetric crew

RNS-8. From August, 1991 to December, 1992 I was entrusted to lead the

definitively closing of the seismological crew PRS-5.

In August, 1991 I was transferred to the Residence of Exploration Puebla

(later we went moved to Veracruz Integral Asset), where I obtained the

party Chief position of Seismological crew. From September 20, 1988 to

July, 1991 I was commissioned to Mexico city to study mastery in the

Faculty of Engineering of the UNAM. My particular interest of the mastery

studies was getting training in technologies of multicomponents seismology,

realizing all my investigation works about this topic.

From August, 1985 to September, 1988 I worked in the seismic crew PRS-5 as

assistant of calculator and from March, 1986 as calculator. Between March

and July, 1985 I worked as party chief of Magnetic Crew (PRM-2). From

November, 1984 to January, 1985 I worked as assistant of calculator in the

seismic crew PRS-5. From April to October, 1984 I was supervising the

activities of the gravimetric crew PRGR-6 in Apatzing n, Mich. From

December, 1981 to March, 1984 I worked in the gravimetric crew PRGR-4 as

auxiliary geophysicist and from July, 1982 as Observer-Calculator. From

August to October, 1981 I worked as auxiliary geophysicist in the Seismic

Crew PRS-5. From February to April, 1981 I worked in the supervision of

activities in the Seismic Crew PRS-12.

In order to know the seismic activities in shallow waters, I worked in

December, 1980 in the seismic crew PRS-14. From July to November, 1980 I

was working in the department of New Technologies in Poza Rica, Veracruz.

From October, 1979 to June, 1980 I worked in the gravimetric crew PRGR-4 as

auxiliary geophysicist. From November, 1978 to July, 1979 I worked in the

supervision of the aeromagnetic study realized by the company Aeroservice.

On August 31, 1977 I started to work in PEMEX in Poza Rica City. In the

first year of work I received training in seismic data acquisition (Crew

PRS-12), gravimetric data acquisition (Crew PRGR-1), studies of surface

geology, Studies of subsurface geology, seismic data processing and

interpretation of seismic data and geophysical information (gravity and

magnet).
