Job summary:

Assisting an

anesthesiologist in providing anesthesia for elective and emergency

surgery, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as required, in patients of

all age groups from newborn to the very elderly, assisting an

anesthesiologist in I.C.U,E.R. AND others concerned department. Look after

manifold, shifting the patient from one place to other place.

Assists anaesthesiologists in the administration of local and general

anaesthesia at the Intensive Care Unit, the Post-Anaesthesia Care Unit and

the Pain Management Clinic, And CV.OR and Cath lab Adult and Paediatrics

including invasive blood pressure monitoring.

Checks anaesthesia machine every morning to ensure that the gas scavenging

system is attached and that the suction apparatus functions well.

Arranges anaesthetizing locations to indicate process and to set-up

monitoring devices.

Uses airway management techniques in emergency methods and local

anaesthesia.techniques

Operates, calibrates and performs routine maintenance of all

anaesthesiology equipment in the OR; also maintains inventory of supplies

and equipment and records.status.

Prepares anaesthetics and other medications according to prescribed

dosage.

Monitors patient's vital signs before, during and after procedures.

Responsible for training and interviewing Junior Anaesthesia Technicians.

Participated in the purchase process for anaesthesia and other related

supplies.

Receives supplies and other equipment and stores them in appropriate

locations.

Maintains cleanliness of the workroom and anaesthesia apparatus using

infection control procedures.

In-depth knowledge and experience in using anaesthetic techniques and the

calibration and operation of machines and monitors for anaesthesiologic

purposes.

Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities can quickly and promptly

determine the best anaesthesiologic procedure to hasten procedures and

promote

efficiency.

Goal-oriented and focused, capable of working in emergency and time-

critical situations without compromising quality patient care.
