The business goal of this data warehouse project is to build the data warehouse to cover Personal,

Administration, Academic, Finance and Campus life, with this data warehouse, the users would be able to

access the pre-defined reports, dashboard and at the same time, also have the capability to generate their

own reports. This system would be the single source of truth for users to get data with regards to the five

subject areas. The contents of the data warehouse must be understandable and intuitive to the business

users not merely the developer. The business users need to separate and combine the data in the

Used Repository Creation Utility (RCU) to create database schemas like MDS and

BIPLATFORM on SQL Server 2008 database.

ABN AMRO Bank is preparing for the introduction of Basel II, A mandatory international initiative to

enhance capital adequacy in the banking industry. An essential component for Basel II Credit Risk is the

Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) calculator. AAB have chosen the Fermat product to fulfill this calculator

requirement, adopting a de-centralized implementation approach for each Strategic Business Unit (SBU).

One of the main activities of this implementation is to design and build a Data Pre-Processing Layer that

will accept source file feeds for Reference, Credit, Credit Risk Mitigate (CRM) and Exposure data,

perform the necessary validations and transformations, and load the data into Fermat.
