MAKE UP ARTIST FOR OVER ** YEARS

acg0zj@r.postjobfree.com - 678-***-****

I truly believe that every client that walks in wants to be treated with respect as well as form a bond with an

expert they can trust. I always ask the client to have a seat and I love to form a bond that allows me to gain their

trust and to form a business friendship with them. It not only helps in sales, it show great customer service. That

can lead to large sales, repeat business, word of mouth advertising, and most of all, store credits. Customers

spend more that 80% more with a store credit and they usually always come back to the sales person that

opened that credit for them. Great customer service can not go wrong and it forms a bond between client and

employees that is incrediable. I love retail and it is wonderful how just one outfit or shade of lipstick can make

a persons day better!

WORK EXPERIENCE

Business Manager Lancome

Saks Fifth Avenue - Atlanta, GA - March 2010 to August 2013

Responsibilities

This store was going under new changes and I was brought in to help train the new employees at the Lancome

Counter. I was flown to Dallas so I could help teach new employees about the products, the history of the

company, customer service, makeovers, and how to connect with each customer for repeat business.

Accomplishments

We were the only line that made our gift goal. I was so proud of everyone and it was a great experience to

watch all of my employees see their accomplishments. We also opened up the most store accounts.

Skills Used

I used positive reinforcement and role played. I also focused on each employees strengths and had them pull

them together to make a terrific team.

Clinique Business Manager

Von Maur - Atlanta, GA - February 2008 to March 2010

Responsibilities

I had a very new and young team so I focused on customer service and training on how to continue to have

repeat clients. I had to be at least 30% up in volume every month, plan events, be energetic and have a great

attitude so my employees would be excited about their jobs as well.

Accomplishments

I was number one in the store in 10 months for opening store credits and number 3 in the company.

Knowledge of all products, a great attitude, organizational skills by keeping client information for repeat

business, encouraging other employees to continue great job performance, make up application, and skin

care specialties.

Beauty Specialist

Nordstrom - Atlanta, GA - May 2004 to September 2008

Responsibilities

I was responsible for having complete knowlege of all lines. I helped specialty clinets as well as hosting parties

and planning wedding and prom makeup events. I also trained the other employees on new prodcuts and

showed them the right technique to use them. I also taught them how to build a sale from one product to ten.

Even if a client comes in for a lipstick you can still make it a luxuious experince and introduce not only other

prodcts as skin care, but store credit as well.

Accomplishments

I was number one in sales at least four times a week. I had more repeat buisness then anyone in the department

and I also opened up the most store credits. I helped smaller lines such as Philosophy and Smashbox become

number in the district, I also created an event where clients would come in and get free facials or peels, such

as the oxygen peel. I aslo sold at least four Clarisonics a week and won one as well as an Opal!

Skills Used

I listened to other employees ideas. I included them in all my events and trained them as well. I encouraged

them and gave them compliments on their accomplishments. We worked as a team and I handed over many

clients in order to build their self esteem. To me it is more important that the client is happy and the department

is a team then getting a quick sale. Clients love more then one opioun and not only does it make our numbers

better it also makes a great work enviorment,.
