Project Details

1) License Entitlement System

LES application is a Web based solution to create customer lists and

request reports. The access to this application is via existing Cognos

report

The application has been developed using the latest v17 (w3) standards. The

Web application is developed based on struts framework and also uses ajax,

java script, jsps, log4j for logging and cognos API for authentication and

blue pages API for authorization

Responsibilities:

. Handling various activities of the project like information gathering,

analyzing the information gathered, documenting the functional or

business requirements.

. Coordinating with the clients and working accordingly.

. Collecting data from the clients.

. Creating application Prototypes and screen mock-ups

. Involved in coding Server side components.

. Involved in Bug Fixing.

. Development of Shopping cart model for the application using Struts.

. Involved in writing the test cases and use cases for the user .

. Testing the application from UI to the back end.

2) OnTARGET

OnTARGET is an exciting IBM web-based sales prospecting tool that profiles

over two million companies worldwide based on consolidated data from

external data sources such as Dun & Bradstreet, Hoover's and competitive

install information acquired by Market Insights.

OnTARGET puts consolidated customer data at the seller's fingertips quickly

and efficiently through a single tool. This allows sellers to focus more on

customer account planning and the selling process to achieve defined sales

targets, rather than wasting valuable time mining for information located

in various data sources.

OnTARGET is deployed in 24 countries today and is available for use by all

sellers. Today there are over 12,000 registered users and on average over

2,000 users access OnTARGET every quarter. Online and sales enablement

training gives sellers the ability to reap immediate benefit in quickly

finding their Clients and prospects.

3) Cognos TM1

IBM Cognos TM1 is a software which is used for reporting applications.

We store the Client and Revenue data in cubes.

Responsibilities:

. Involved in minor coding for the Processes /Chores.

. Involved in refreshing the Chores /Processes in TM1

. Involved in connecting to the GSA drive and loading the .csv files

and upload the data to the Cognos Dashboard via the tool TM1.

. Involved in Bug Fixing.

4) Software Sales Dashboard

Software Sales Dashboard is mainly used for Report Generation. It is

used by IBM clients/Sales reps. Reports fetch data for Client and Resource

Dashboard.

Responsibilities:

. Coordinating with the clients and working accordingly.

. Involved in requirement gathering and work with China team for the

development.

. Organized the team meetings to make sure we track the things.

. Involved in testing and updating with clients.

. Supported during the released and updating the test results in Brio

DB.
