Main Project:

Project Title: "Hydraulic Hand Press"

Description: The aim of the project was to design and fabricate a

hydraulic hand press. The main components of the press were Hydraulic jack,

Punch, die block, die and structure for providing support for the system.

Basic principle of operation was pascal's law. The application of the press

are in punching and blanking operations. By using dies of different sizes

and shapes, different kinds of holes and blanks can be made.

INDUSTRIAL TRAININGS:

> Undergone training in BBMB workshop for 4 weeks at Sundernagar During

summer-2012.

> Undergone training at 12MW capacity Baner Hydel Project Jia, (Kangra) for

6 weeks during summer-2013.
