Quality/Safety Manager

Duties: Responsible for the overall safety program to ensure all TLC employees comply with

broad safety engineering codes, standards, policies and regulations, including US Army and

industry recognized authorities such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration

(OSHA), National Safety Council, American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and Life Safety

Codes. Performed all accidents investigations for two projects and identified root cause and

recommend corrective actions. Perform annual inspection and audits on all sections for

performance and complicity according to the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and

Security (DPTMS) and Logistics Operations Center (LOC) contracts. Prepared and presented

daily safety briefing on areas including shop safety, health issues and workplace safety. Prepare

and maintain all property books for 11 sections to include tracking, issue and turn in of all GFE

(Government Furnished Property). Perform 10% cyclic and annual inventories on all property and

buildings.

Duties: Responsible for managing 458 government contractor employees on the US ARMY

CONUS Support Base Services (CSBS) contract for Mobilization/Demobilization of military service

members. Maintain a supervisor level of customer service. Interact with government and military

officials on a daily basis. Prepare reports, management of organizations providing a variety of

services, operational planning, maintenance management and all aspects of human resource

management including hiring, new employee orientation, and terminations. Work closely with the

Fort Dix contracting officer to ensure contract obligations were met in a timely manner. Review

contract invoices prior to submission and approved overtime as well as employee leave. Provided

performance and personal counseling to supervisor’s in order to foster a better work environment

for employees. Conduct investigations of customer complaints and recommend corrective action.

Conduct meetings between management and the contracting office to solve contract issues in a

timely manner.

Transportation Manager

leaving requests and duty assignments. Prepared work schedules, work assignments and

oversaw the work productivity. Manage a fleet of 75 heavy trucks, busses and heavy equipment.

Developed a quality control program to ensure repairs to transportation equipment met U.S. Army

standards and are performed in accordance with the equipment technical manuals.

Coordinate the daily transportation for troop movements, container movement, overnight truck

missions and all Arrival/Departure Air Control Group (ADACG) missions. Maintain all TCMD

(Transportation Control Movement Documents) for all rolling stock transported to all points of

Home Stations.
