Project-Summary

Project: E-Filing of Tax Returns. (Jan 2011- April 2013).

Client: Income Tax Department (Government of India).

Project description

Income Tax department has created a central repository of the

entire E-Filing request as a complete management of Tax Payers records in

Centralized Processing Centre (CPC), Bangalore. Management of routine tax

administration functions as Receipt, canning, data entry, processing and

issue of refunds as a centralized manner all over the country.

Responsibilities:

. Developed the complex model of Tax Processing Module using JSP as a

front end development, Oracle 10g DB connectivity.

. Developed the Complex Tax Accounting system with the set of rules

governed by Income Tax department. This system was developed using

Pl/Sql and Standard API's by Oracle.

. Worked on Account Receivables, Account Payables, and General Ledger

Modules of Oracle Applications to account the Processing details of

Tax Payer.

. Designed and developed complex views for outward and inward

communication to banker through ETL interface.

. DBA Monitoring, which tracks on monitoring of sessions, locks in the

database, analyzes query performance and Performance tuning of these

queries.

. To incorporate the business logic for the portals to set the

processing rules of income tax in the business layer using JAVA and to

trouble shoot & deliver the Fix for the production issues.

. Completed 6-months of Infosys Training across different

Technologies with excellent CGPA 4.8 out of 5.
