Successfully completed following projects and works:

1) Study of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Switchboards are essentially “tailor made” products i.e. they have to be designed to

suit the requirements of the customer. Different industries have different requirements for

their electrical installation and machines, hence varies the current / voltage requirements.

In such situations, logistics management becomes very essential to plan, execute and

control the delicate activities related to work.

2) Development of Vendor Rating System Model.

Vendor performance is also observed. Hence for optimization of process flow in for

improving the performance of vendors, Vendor Rating System i s d e v e l o p e d

c o n s i d e r i n g t h e criteria Quality, Delivery Reliability, Documentation, Services.

Weighted Point Method is used for rating.

3) Hardware Standardization.

The idea was to summarize the hardware required in all the assemblies of the product

and prepare a standard format.

With the use of such a format the hardware list would be standardized for each of the

assemblies.

4) Implementation Of 5-S on Lean Line for Hardware Trolley.
