Senior sales associate at a gas station and convenience store. Handle all

customers, meet greet as well as assist in pumping gas if necessary. We have

fresh food and Dunkin Donuts in our store and my job also includes making sure

they are both fresh and displays are kept tidy. I sweep, mop, clean and manage

the coolers, ensuring all products are faced, fronted, rotated and up to date. The

insides of these coolers are also to be kept clean and tidy. I was promoted to

senior sales after one because of my ability to work hard, efficient and fast. I

have met the Hess Way of customer service standards and my eight hour shifts

increase sales for the store. If the manager or the assistant is unavailable, it is

my responsibility to receive vendors and their products, to count them and

ensure they are placed in the correct spots quickly without interrupting the flow of

business. I was promoted to safety captain after 6 months. The responsibilities of

the safety captain are to walk the store making sure it is safe of clutter and/or

anything that may cause my co workers or guests to get hurt. I check all of the

equipment, especially the fire extinguishers, alarms, video equipment and

machines to ensure they are working. I also maintain the thermostats on all four

coolers. Once the inside of the store has been thoroughly checked, I walk the

outside of the store and building. I make sure the trash and dumpsters are not

overflowing. I make sure there are no spills or garbage on the floor. It is also my

responsibility to make sure the lighting and pumps are working. Lastly, I have to

control my cash register, closing the shift, ensuring all monies from cash and

debit/credit sales have been accounted for. Must ensure the store is set up and

ready for the next days opening. I work great independently which my 8 hours

shifts require of me, but I am a great team member.

Basic office duties: Answering phones, filing, inventory. My main duty is to

arrange and coordinate with law clerks, legal secretaries and court reporters for

the next days assignments. If videographers or translators are needed, I set them

up as well. My secondary duty is production. I am in charge of putting the

transcripts in books, making copies,CDS, and then shipping them. I did proofread

the finalized work and made sure the reporters corrected them. I have

experience with both UPS and Fed Ex. I maintain ALL the supplies in the office,

and make sure ALL three of our copier/printers are in working condition. I follow

up with the reporters regarding outstanding work, and keep them to our strict

turnaround policy. I did dictation and have excellent attention to detail and data

entry skills.

ASSISTANT MANGER

February 1996 - May 2000

In charge of maintaining a busy coffe store(more or less). I had to count money,

order supplies, receive vendors and there products. Was in charge of cleaning

the store, and handled all of the on-spot inspections for the SouthLand Company.

Set schedules, trained new employees and made sure the daily duties were

done. Handled customer complaints/comments. 110% CUSTOMER

SATISFACTION. My shifts once i became assistant manager were 11 or 12

hours long.
