5 Project details

1. 12 Volt battery level indicator:-

This battery level

indicator offers LEDs that light up progressively as the voltage

increases:

. Red: Power connected (o%)

. Yellow: greater than (25%)

. Green 1: greater than (50%)

. Green 2: greater than (75%)

. Green 3: greater than (100%)

2. Heat sensor:-

It is a fire alarm device designed to respond

when thermal energy of a fire increases the temperature of heat

sensitive element.

3. Telephone ringer:-

The telephone ringer can produce a ring

as well as a virtual indication when a call comes. There is no contact

between the phone and the circuit and there is no chance of

disturbance and fading.

4. 4 Step clap size:-

The basic idea of clap switch is that the

electric microphone picks up sound of your clap,cough and the sound of

that a book knocked off the table.

5. Light detector:-

In this we use photodiode . when this photo

diode sense the darkness or a shadow the LED glows automatically.

6. Touch switch:-

Type of switch that only has to be touched by an

object to oprate.

7. KBC fastest finger first:-

Quiz-type game shows are increasingly becoming popular on

television these days. In such games, fastest finger first

indicators (FFFIs) are used to test the player's reaction time. The

player's designated number is displayed with an audio alarm when the

player presses his entry button.

In the buzzer round of quiz contests, the question

is thrown open to all the teams. The person who knows the answer hits

the buzzer first and then answers the question.

Sometimes two or more players hit the buzzer almost simultaneously

and it is very difficult to detect which of them has pressed the

buzzer first.

In television shows, where the whole event is

recorded, the actions are replayed in slow motion to detect the first

hit. Such slow motions are possible only where huge funds are

available to conduct the show.

8. DTMF Home appliance control system:-

Here is a Home automation system

circuit, which enables switching 'on', and 'off' of appliances through

telephones via telephone lines. It can be used to switch appliances

from any distance overcoming the limited range of infrared and radio

remote controls.

The circuit described here can be used to switch up to four appliances

(corresponding to the digits 1 through 4 of the telephone instrument

for switching on and 5 through 8 for switching corresponding

appliance 1 to 4) Thus the telephone can be used to switch on or

switch off the appliances also while being used for normal

conversation.

The circuit uses IC1 KT8870 (DTMF-to-BCD converter) and a 89S52
